What now consists of over twenty cafes, kiosks, bistros, lounges and a catering business, all began in a corner location of 484 square feet. And although our cafes are all of various shapes and sizes, the concept that first charmed the Concordia University community in 1996 is very much the same today.
The café java u model is an innovative concept serving a wide variety of gourmet European-style sandwiches, along with delicious baked goods and a menu of soups and salads that changes daily. Premium Green Mountain coffee from Vermont in all possible incarnations and fancy teas are front and center. We are exclusive distributors of Green Mountain Coffee Roaster’s products in Canada, and, together, we have products specially selected and blended for java u. We also have a large selection of specialty juices and sodas, and we make fresh fruit smoothies to order.
